Pick Pocket — Audio to MIDI Drum Plug-In

Steal the pocket from any drum groove. Pick Pocket listens to a beat — a Vault loop, your own audio, or whatever's playing on a track in your DAW — and hands you its feel as MIDI: every hit's timing and velocity, unquantized. The feel stays. The sounds become yours.

What Pick Pocket does

• Capture from track — record any DAW track through the plugin, with automatic loop detection (finds the clean 2, 4, or 8 bars and cuts them click-free)
• See the pocket — every hit detected and classified — kick, snare, hat — with swing, push/drag, and tightness measured to the millisecond
• A real groove editor — re-assign voices, drag velocities, reshape timing dot-by-dot, mute steps, add/move/delete MIDI notes with full multi-select
• Audition engine — hear the extracted MIDI through a Yurt Rock kit, layered in lockstep with the original: if it sounds doubled, the pocket transferred
• Drag it out — unquantized MIDI straight onto your timeline, pre-mapped for Superior/EZdrummer, BFD3, Slate SSD5, Addictive Drums 2, General MIDI — or as an Ableton .agr groove file
